Seam Phantom Process

The pictures below show how a "Seam Phantom®" seam is produced.  The entire process shown below takes about 7 to 10 minutes per side or 15 to 20 minutes per full seam. 

Gallery: Seam Phantom Process Set up the Rail Note how the Gauge Block is set.  Can be to the Edge, or to a Tape Line. Clamp it down Set Up Seam Phantom with 2" cup wheel for Back Grinding Backgrinding Stop short of Front Edge of Counter with Backgrind Use Adjustment Knob to take off more material Front Edge - After Backgrinding After Backgrinding 60 Grit Turbo Dressing 150 Grit Turbo (then up to 300 if desired) Work Left to Right Pause to Check Check to ensure it's straight Front Edge - After Dressing Back Edge after Dressing Sweetness!  No chips.  Perfectly Straight Edge.  Required element for a Perfect Seam.
